Supreme Court Hands Down Biggest Decision in a Century

When a draft opinion from the Supreme Court was discovered to have been stolen in May, it sent shockwaves throughout the entire country. The Democrats offered their support to the protesters in their efforts to coerce the court into adopting a different position on this significant matter. On the other hand, the court issued its conclusive decision regarding Roe v. Wade. And it is turning out to be one of the biggest decisions that it has ever made, not just in this century but in the entire history of the United States.

The notorious decision of the Supreme Court from fifty years ago that authorized abortion on demand at the national level has been finally reversed. It would be a gross understatement to call it historic. For countless years, millions of people in the United States have toiled away and prayed for this day to come. And it has at long last arrived. As a result of this decision, it has been determined that the “Constitution does not confer a right to abortion.”

In his opinion, which was written by Justice Samuel Alito, it was stated that “the Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision. Because of this major ruling, which the court’s three liberal justices and Chief Justice John Roberts voted to overturn, the federal government will no longer regard abortion as a right. In a separate but concurring opinion, Chief Justice John Roberts argued that the Supreme Court ought to have upheld the restrictions imposed by Mississippi but should not have overturned Roe in the process.

The court made it abundantly clear that the decision regarding the legalization of abortion is to be made by the people of the state in conjunction with their duly elected representatives At this point, it seems that more than half of the states will outlaw abortion. As a direct result of this decision, thirteen states already have legislation in place that makes abortion illegal. It is anticipated that more will follow suit, bringing the total number of states that prohibit abortion to approximately 26.

As a result of this decision, additional states are planning to impose additional restrictions on abortion. Only the most progressive states will maintain their current abortion laws.It is anticipated that the rights of women to have abortions will be expanded in the states of California, New York, and Illinois. However, as a result of this massive change, it now presents an opportunity for pro-life advocates to gain ground even in blue states.

Voters will have a strong incentive to vote for pro-life representatives now that states have the right to decide whether or not to legalize abortion in their respective jurisdictions. Even in more liberal states, there may be a movement afoot to make the practice illegal in its entirety. Let us never forget who it was that brought us to this wonderful day. A man who is being portrayed as a villain by the left despite the fact that he appointed three pro-life justices to the court.

Donald J. Trump was elected as President. It wasn’t just Fox News that had Trump admitting that “God made a decision” when he was asked about his role in the appointments.
