President Biden’s AG May Have Just Tanked the Trump Case
The investigation of Donald Trump being conducted by the Department of Justice has been steeped in misunderstanding and controversy. The questions and frustrations of millions of Americans have not been addressed adequately by Attorney General Merrick Garland.

He opposed the federal judge’s decision to appoint a special master and pushed back against it. But at the same time, she asserted that she lacked the authority to make that decision. Now it seems that this very decent lawyer may have hurt his own case against Trump by sabotaging it.
Patriots who felt this case was a mess before this won’t think any better after reading this. Merrick Garland, who serves as Attorney General for President Joe Biden, is effectively in charge of a case brought against a previous president from a rival political party. That was sufficient evidence for millions of people in the United States to assume that this probe was driven politically (and not legitimate).
Trump asked for a special master to be assigned to the task of organizing the documents that were taken from his house by the FBI. The judge who is presiding over this case concurred. But Garland got his priorities mixed up when he initially filed an appeal with another court and then asked the judge to change her order. Why did Garland ask Judge Cannon, in the beginning, to change her mind about assigning a special master if he is of the opinion that she does not have jurisdiction over this case?

It would be an unforced error on Garland’s part to have agreed to Cannon’s ruling in the first place if it turns out that this particular issue cannot be decided by Cannon and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals must instead decide it.
This does nothing but make this probe even stranger and less well organized than it already was before this. The Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation under Biden are already viewed with suspicion by a significant number of Americans. They are claiming that those individuals have abused their power in order to target a political opponent.
Garland, who ought to be going to great efforts to make this case look legitimate, is now making a variety of errors, but she should not be. We are unable to speculate as to whether or not this will wind up working in Trump’s favor. However, this episode has only served to make the inquiry into the murder even more difficult to follow.
